Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Loretta LaRoche is one of my favorite people and one of her quotes inspired me today:
If you think the worst and get the worst, you suffer twice. If you think the best and get the worst, you only suffer once.
I needed to be reminded of this as I have 3 people very close to my heart that are finishing their journey here in this world and it has been difficult to keep my focus on the present moment and stay positive when I am not with them. After reading this quote this morning, I realize that the most powerful gift I am giving to them when I am with them is the gift of my love and my presence -simply sitting with them letting them know they are loved and cared about. And I realize that I can continue to hold them for now in the same loving space and keep my thoughts and focus on all the blessings, joy and love that I feel for them and let go of all the fear, worry, and sorrow. What wonderful loving energy that would be to send out to them in thoughts and prayer in this present moment until it is time to say goodbye and grieve for them when that time becomes the present moment.
Affirm:
In this present moment I will keep those I love in a sacred space of positive love and light.
Have a focus on Loving thoughts Friday!

Counting your Blessings
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
There are many holidays celebrated in December around the world and right here in this country; St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Boxing Day are just a few.
So the holiday season is in full swing. Our to do lists are full of things like gift shopping, going to the grocery store, making travel arrangements, decorating homes and businesses, baking and cooking, scheduling holiday and office parties to celebrate.
How much time will be spent on Thankfulness, Gratitude and Counting Blessings? When was the last time that you told a friend, co-worker or family member that you are Thankful for them? When was the last time you actually wrote down a Gratitude list for this time of the year? When was the last time that you asked others to share one of their Blessings with everyone?
What would your Holiday season be like if the Focus was on Gratitude, Thankfulness and Blessings instead of worrying If there is enough time to get everything done? Or if you have enough room for the family and friends at the holiday feast?
What if you just relaxed, slowed down a little and enjoyed the Holiday season for what it is supposed to be about- thankfulness and sharing bounty with all. What if you counted everyone that crosses your path today, tomorrow and all of December as a Blessing sent to you this Holiday season as an opportunity for you to say "Thank You" and share your Blessings with them all?
What would that Holiday season be like? Find out for Yourself!
Affirm:
This Holiday season I let go of stress, worry and perfectionism and I keep my focus on being Thankful, Grateful and Counting all my Blessings.
Have a truly Thankful Holiday season!
And Thank You to each of you for being a Blessing in my Life!

the Antidote is Gratitude.
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Gratitude is the antidote to worry. Worry is fear about the future, what will happen later today, tomorrow, next year. Gratitude is about the right Now. So when you find yourself worrying about anything, STOP! and become grateful. Find gratitude in the small things, the big things, the everyday things, the simple things.
Have Gratitude for waking up today, for having transportation, for having a job, for the sun shining, for the health you do have, for the friends and family that surround you, for food on the table, a roof over your head, a pet that loves you, a child's laugh, the sun glistening off the water, the ability to think for yourself, for fresh air, for living in a free country, for your senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing, a sense of humor, that yesterday is done and today is a brand new canvas.
Today realize that you cannot be worried or fearful when you are thinking and focusing on all the things you are grateful for.
Affirm:
Today my attitude of gratitude keeps me in a positive and worry free space!
Have a Lots to be Grateful for Wednesday!
