Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
There are many holidays celebrated in December around the world and right here in this country; St. Nicholas Day, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Boxing Day are just a few.
So the holiday season is in full swing. Our to do lists are full of things like gift shopping, going to the grocery store, making travel arrangements, decorating homes and businesses, baking and cooking, scheduling holiday and office parties to celebrate.
How much time will be spent on Thankfulness, Gratitude and Counting Blessings? When was the last time that you told a friend, co-worker or family member that you are Thankful for them? When was the last time you actually wrote down a Gratitude list for this time of the year? When was the last time that you asked others to share one of their Blessings with everyone?
What would your Holiday season be like if the Focus was on Gratitude, Thankfulness and Blessings instead of worrying If there is enough time to get everything done? Or if you have enough room for the family and friends at the holiday feast?
What if you just relaxed, slowed down a little and enjoyed the Holiday season for what it is supposed to be about- thankfulness and sharing bounty with all. What if you counted everyone that crosses your path today, tomorrow and all of December as a Blessing sent to you this Holiday season as an opportunity for you to say "Thank You" and share your Blessings with them all?
What would that Holiday season be like? Find out for Yourself!
Affirm:
This Holiday season I let go of stress, worry and perfectionism and I keep my focus on being Thankful, Grateful and Counting all my Blessings.
Have a truly Thankful Holiday season!
And Thank You to each of you for being a Blessing in my Life!
