Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
I saw a wall poster that caught my attention. It said "If you do not take care of your body, where will you live?"
That really hit me. After all it is just like my car. If I don't do oil changes, check and rotate the tires, put gas in the tank and keep up on the regular maintenance then my car will simply stop working. I will then have to invest in either a new car, get rides or seek other transportation or put a lot of money into repairs or replacement of parts, all of which will cause me significant inconvenience, discomfort and expense.
When I relate that to my body is it not the same thing? If I don't pay attention to what I am putting into my body, how I take care of my body, doing regular healthy maintenance, things that aid my body in working more efficiently and having more energy then will not the same thing happen? My body will simply stop working well. Then I will have to put a lot money into health repairs, medications, doctor and hospital visits, replacement of parts and or artificial health aids all of which will cause me significant inconvenience, expense and discomfort.
The only difference between the two is that when you neglect a car to the point that it completely stops working you can get another new, used or borrowed car. However when you neglect to take care of your body you do not have the option to go and get a new one, a used one or a borrowed one.
This reality has made me look at my priorities now- not later when my choices are limited.
Affirm:
I move my body and my health to the top of my priorities. I treat my body as the sacred vehicle that it is and I am worth it!
Have a Healthy tune up Weekend!

Simplify your day.
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Today life can be as easy or as hard as you make it. So prioritize, organize and keep it simple. Simplicity is an excellent solution to a hectic schedule. Keep your schedule and your tasks as simple as possible. If you have time consuming tasks to do then do a couple of quick easy tasks first to bolster your confidence and feel that sense of accomplishment. Keep track of the things you ARE getting done rather than all the things left to do and keep your progress momentum moving forward.
Do the best you can and Be the Best YOU today. Put up a couple of post it notes that say "Keep it Simple" to remind you.
Affirm:
Today I keep my focus on keeping my day and my attitude easy and simple.
Have a Simplify Wednesday!

Choose to make it a Great Day!
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Each day is a new beginning. Today is a clean slate. You can make today a great day or a difficult day. It's your choice.
Here are some ways of making today a great day:
-Take a moment and SEE - Visualize what your great day would look like.
-Write down a couple of positive statements and post them where you can easily see them. ( today mine are "You can do it!" and " I accomplish my tasks with ease")
-Instead of a to do list start a DONE list. Write down everything you accomplish or do today-even little things.
-Set a timer for a specific amount of time to keep you on track and moving forward! (from 15 minutes to one hour)
-Use the TIMER and set a time limit for non essential things like; phone calls, internet, tv, junk mail, shopping, etc.
-Self Talk - Monitor the story you are telling yourself about today. Change "I'll never get all this done" to "I am excited to see how much I get done today!"
-FOCUS- keep your focus on the things that ARE working today and on the things you DID get done.
-Cheer Yourself on today! Don't wait for someone else instead do it yourself. As you go through your day tell yourself "way to go!" "I knew you could do it" or "Keep going you are almost there!"
And Remember:
-If you get caught up in any stress or negativity then just STOP! and start making a great day again.
Affirm:
I am the CEO of Me and I create my best day right now in this moment!
Have a you make it great Monday!

Don't Forget to Breathe!
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Many times when our day or life becomes hectic we speed up our pace trying to keep up with everything and everyone. When we do this we don't even realize that our breathing changes. We breathe shallower, faster and sporadically. The physical effect this has on our bodies and our brains is that we take in less oxygen and keep more carbon dioxide.
This results in feeling sluggish, tense, irritable and out of balance.
So today, don't forget to Breathe! Take a moment of your day and stop and breathe in .... fully and completely and then breathe out .... fully and completely.
Then take a moment to review your pace for the day. If you are feeling hectic, stressed, feeling like time is running out or that you need to clone yourself 3 or 4 times to get everything done, perhaps this is the time to slooooow down! Revise your schedule, delegate some things out, prioritize, bump some things to the next day, or week, and then put a time slot in there just for you.
Prioritize yourself into your day today. Breathe yourself into a calm space and breath in more oxygen to your system and re-balance your body and your brain. NOW - you're ready for anything!
Affirm:
Today I remember to Breathe myself into balance.
Have a full tank of oxygen Thursday!

Prioritize You!
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
There are only 24 hours in a day. Each day you prioritize what you put into your 24 hours. You use part of the 24 hours for work, sleep, eating, driving, appointments, errands and meeting the needs of friends, family and co- workers.
What about you? Do you prioritize taking care of you? Or does time run out and you put yourself on the back burner- maybe you'll find time tomorrow or the next day?
Well there is no time like this present moment. Make a point today to prioritize time for you - just for you. Put a high priority on fitting You into your 24 hours. If you don't usually take a break during the day or even take the time for lunch then today take that break, go out and have lunch. If you want to get some exercise but find there is just too much to do, today take the time for you - go for a walk, go to the gym, take the stairs instead of the elevator and know that you are doing this because YOU are important.
If You don't make You a high priority each day then why should anyone else make you a high priority? Set the example and demonstrate that You are important enough to prioritize part of your 24 hours just for you.
Affirm:
I am worthy and deserving of making myself a daily High Priority.
