Designed and Decorated with love
My grandaughter Hailey and I had fun creating, painting and decorating 2 collage frames- one for her mom and one for her great grandfather for the holidays. I love Tulip brand Beads in a Bottle. They come in different colors and work well on picture frames, glass, paper crafts-pretty much any surface including fabric! They are easy to use and they give a 3D effect and harden like a brad or a bead. We got more creative with our frame design as we went along and I even tried it directly on the glass frame on the top left pic. The words For You Mom are in black beads in a bottle. When my grandsons saw these they asked how come they couldn't do one! So for Valentine's day they will be doing small picture frames for their mom- Can't wait to create with them!

Beautiful creation from Felicia!
My granddaughter Felicia came to my art studio yesterday and she created the most beautiful collage picture frame for her mom for Christmas! While I worked on cropping and printing the photos she selected, Felicia got inspired and creative with the supplies I put out for her use. And what an excellent job she did! I know her mom will be just thrilled with her gift and especially the fact that Felicia designed and created the entire thing!! Handmade gifts are always the best-especially when they come from the heart. Awesome job Felicia!!

Positive Power Beads
Here are several new Positive Power beads that I made a few days ago. I am getting ready for a holiday show and am busy creating away! These beads are wonderful because you can use them as a bookmark in a book-I made large ones and smaller ones for different size books. Also I made one and hung it from my car mirror so I see it every time I drive and it reminds me of my positive focus. I also hung one from desk hutch off a small nail so I can see its' positive message while I work on my computer.
And then I found these wonderful spin racks so I can easily display all of the Power Beads! Looking forward to making more of these!

New Flower Power Trinket Boxes
Finished some more flower power trinket boxes last night. I really love the striped ones! It was something that happened to cover up an accident. I painted the wrong color and thought how can I cover it up and still have it look ok? And then I tried the stripes on the pink and black box and I liked it so much that I repeated the stripe idea on the green box.
Today I will put a sealant coat on the tops to preserve the paint.
These are going to look awesome at my Studio Garden Party on sunday!

New Book Beads
Just Finished a batch of my new Book Beads! I am really loving the way they turned out! My hubby made me a peg board tripod and I can fit the whole batch on it. The peg board has a handle and folds up easy so I can take it to the vendor shows I do. I am still debating about painting the board a lime green or not.
I think I will test a small scrap piece of peg board first. I feel that the green background color would allow the book beads to show up better. Well we shall see what we shall see! I am happy to have a new batch ready to go for my Studio Garden Party next weekend.

Are you a Yes I Can! or a Yeah But... person?
Get Jazzed & Joyful Thought:
Do you think you are a Yes I Can! or a "Yeah But..." person? Challenge yourself to find out. Take an empty jar, box or gift bag and on one side put "Yes I Can! and on the other side put "Yeah But...." Keep a small notepad next to it. Whenever you make an excuse or say Yeah but.... jot it on a note and place it in the container. Do the same for every Yes I Can! At the end of the day take a look and see. You could even throw a little twist into this by seeing if you hang around or interact with more Yes I Can! or Yeah But... people. Simply put the letter Y (for YES I can) on a slip and the letters YB (for Yeah But..), putting the initials of the people next to the letters is optional.
The main goal here is to bring into your awareness the difference between a Yes I Can! or Yeah But...energy and attitude.
Truth is whether you are, or hang around, a Yes I Can! or a Yeah But... person defines your belief in the Succees or Failure of You!
Affirm:
I pay attention to whether today is a Yes I Can! or a Yeah But... day.
Have a Yes I Can change Monday!
