Welcome to my blog! My name is Mary Ellen Pierce and I want to invite you to Get Jazzed & Joyful about who you are, every day in every way! I believe that no matter what you do in life, it is important to believe in yourself and your goals and to realize it's okay to enjoy the journey and have fun along the way!
Along my journey I have discovered my inner artist to help me create expressions of myself using collage, altered art, mixed media and scrapbook techniques. I have enlisted the aid of my inner cheerleader to keep me motivated to be the Best ME that I can be!
And I want to inspire others to realize that when you get Jazzed and Joyful about being You, then what you do will turn into success, prosperity and happiness!
Believe in Yourself, Anything is Possible!

Beautiful creation from Felicia!

My granddaughter Felicia came to my art studio yesterday and she created the most beautiful collage picture frame for her mom for Christmas! While I worked on cropping and printing the photos she selected, Felicia got inspired and creative with the supplies I put out for her use. And what an excellent job she did! I know her mom will be just thrilled with her gift and especially the fact that Felicia designed and created the entire thing!! Handmade gifts are always the best-especially when they come from the heart. Awesome job Felicia!!

My Success Habits Vision Board

This is my Success Habits Vision Board that I did a couple of weeks ago. I really love the way it turned out and I have it hanging right over my monitor so I can look at it and read it every day. It keeps me motivated and moving forward. I even like the head shot of me that I pasted onto my board!

Vision Board: Qualities of ME from A to Z!

Here is my vision Board that I made Saturday night with a friend who also did one. I used an art canvas and painted with watercolors in the background, then took a piece of scalloped scrapbook paper for the center of the board. I then printed and cut out a picture of myself and pasted it to the center. Then I cut out from magazines, advertisements, and used my print shop program to create some of my own words. I laid everything onto the board BEFORE I started gluing. Then I glued it all down and added some flower buttons for a splash of color and depth.    I have it sitting on top of my desk corner against my lamp and I spend five minutes each morning reading the whole thing! It gets me energized and determined to make the best of each day.   I love the way it turned out!
