Self Care and Being Good to Ourselves is not always a priority. There are many ways to be good to ourselves, to take care of ourselves. Meditation, a nap, read a good book, go for a walk, soak in the tub, eating healthy, go to the gym, go to a cafe and read the paper or a magazine and relax with a cup of tea.
When we build our awareness and stay in the NOW we are fully present when we choose Self Care as a means to nurture ourselves, to feed our soul, to make our spirit a priority.
Then no matter what means of Self Care we choose, we choose it with the conscious intent to take time just for us.
How different would Self Care feel if before you went for a walk, read a book, went to the gym, soak in the tub, ... you first declared,
"I intentionally take this time just for me to nourish and nurture my body, soul and spirit."
Affirm:
I am worthy and deserving of intentional daily Self Care.
