Focus on a Solution

There are always solutions available to us - if we are open to finding them. Many times we get caught up in the problems and focusing on what is not working in our lives.

Just for today focus on all the things that are working in your life. When you shift your focus you may find a solution lies within the successes you do have. List the things that are working and see if a common thread appears. Is it your attitude that is working? Is it your time management? Is it your ability to lighten up and laugh at yourself? Is it your communication with others? Is it that you can remain calm in the midst of crisis? Is it that you think outside the box? Is it that you invite someone in for a fresh perspective?
Whatever is working for you, therein lies a possible solution to a current problem. IF you still cannot find a solution from what is working then consider doing the opposite of what you usually do. If you always have to stay involved consider passing it on to a friend or colleague to help. Consider consulting someone that normally you would not. If you would stay with the problem relentlessly consider taking a break, set it aside and come back to it later.

There is always a solution if your focus is on finding one.

Affirm:
    Today I take what IS working in my life and apply it to something that is not and see the solution appear.
