There is a tendency to avoid pain at all costs, deflect it, distract from it, suppress it, medicate it so we don't have to FEEL it.
However, pain is a sign to us that there is an imbalance calling for our attention, for us to learn from. Pain is a signal that our body, our mind, our spirit are not aligned and is actively working on some kind of healing.
When we can focus on the pain to ask "What are you trying to teach me and how may I assist in my own healing?" we make new awarenesses, the biggest of which is Postponing Feeling is Postponing Healing.
Affirm:
Whatever I can Feel, I can allow to Heal.
