Along my journey I have discovered my inner artist to help me create expressions of myself using collage, altered art, mixed media and scrapbook techniques. I have enlisted the aid of my inner cheerleader to keep me motivated to be the Best ME that I can be!

Home and Heart

This took me several days to do. First I drew in pencil then colored in with prismacolor pencils, then went over with markers and paint pens. It reads: They say that home is where the heart is ..Home is not where you live but what lives within you..Allow your heart to overflow and fill completely wherever you dwell.           I am glad I kept at this- at first I was not happy with how it was turning out- the perfectionist in me- but I just kept working at it and I learned a lot and am happy with the results - 'take that perfectionist!'
